Beginning next week, local residents will have another option to go to for legal advice in Liberty Lake.
HALL Law Office will open its doors for business on Monday at 21950 E. Country Vista Drive, Suite 400 in Liberty Lake, said owner Garrett Hall.

His goal is to establish a full-service law firm that handles nearly all the legal needs of residents and businesses while concentrating on proper legal planning.
"Whether clients are buying a house, signing a contract, incorporating a business or making significant financial decisions, it is important for them to plan and protect themselves so problems do not arise later," Hall said. "I prefer to help people avoid litigation by making informed decisions and planning for the future."

The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but will also offer flexible scheduling to those who can't come during business hours. Hall said he also plans to do house calls and visits to businesses within Liberty Lake.
Hall said he is in the process of hiring a receptionist for the 1,284-square-foot office and plans to hire a clerk in the coming months.

A native of Issaquah, Wash., Hall received an English degree from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Prior to moving to Liberty Lake this summer, Hall worked for a Salt Lake City law firm where he said he did a lot of business and real estate litigation in addition to drafting contracts, creating wills and trusts and assisting with business formation.

Besides the convenience of being located down the street, Hall said that being a local attorney helps him understand the vibe in the community.

"As a local, I mingle with my clients on a daily basis when I go to the grocery store, the bank or an activity for one of the kids," he said. "I think being a professional extends beyond my office doors, which is why I do house calls and visit people in their places of business. I feel I can better help people when I can understand them."
Hall heard about Liberty Lake from his cousin, and he chose the community to establish his practice because of the quality of life it offered for his family.

"My wife and I came here and fell in love with it," he said. "We feel strongly about being involved in a great community, and Liberty Lake offers everything we want for raising a family, building a practice and serving in our community."
